What is it?

Cyberbullying is the use of online communication such as email or instant messaging to intimidate or post defamatory information about an individual. Cyberbullying can be particularly harmful because the perpetrators cannot physically see the results of their actions and as a result inflict even deeper pain. There are a variety of methods that students use for online bullying:
  • Personal Web Pages
  • Community Web Pages
  • E-mail and Instant Messaging
  • Cell / mobile Phones
